Section freshly washed wet hair then apply a generous amount of product to each section of the hair, starting from the root to the end of the hair. Next, style hair as desired.

It just doesn't do anything for my 4c hair. It just sits on top of my hair.

Low porosity hair can have difficulty absorbing moisture, while high porosity hair may absorb moisture too quickly, and loses just as quickly causing products to sit on the surface.
Here are some tips that might help you get better results:
For low porosity hair: Try applying the product to damp hair and using heat (like a warm towel or steamer) to open up the hair cuticles, which can help the product absorb better.
For high porosity hair: Try following up with a cream or an oil to seal in moisture and prevent the product from sitting on the surface.

I love this leave-in conditioner on my daughter’s low-porosity hair! It also worked well on my thin, high porosity hair!! This leave-in is SUPER creamy, soft and smooth. It’s lightweight and will not weigh your hair down. The smell is amazing too, light and sweet. Also, this conditioner doubles as a curl definer!! Our hair was so defined and hydrated. It will also literally melt away your tangles and knots because it has a TON of slip! Will definitely purchase again.
